Rev counter electrical fault

Went to start my Nova LET up for the first time in a month or so the other day and noticed the rev counter had decided to stop working, strange as I haven't touched any wiring. Another thing I noticed is as the alarm locks and unlocks the doors when you turn the ignition on and off the rev counter moves up and down but is totally dead when you start the car.

Seems like an earth problem but all other electrics are working fine?

Any ideas please?

Check alternator earth and make sure its charging properly...

Alternator earth had snapped, new one on and all working again now :thumb:
