Quite urgent as I've just started doing it. I've taken the two bolts out from each side and the one at the bottom in the middle. How do you get it off the iron?

It's a mk2 by the way.

Thanks!

No probs.

Just be carefull when you need to do ya front bumper.

I undid the ones on arch and the ones for the bar and it wasn't coming out and in the process snapped some of the clips in the grille so never ended up changing it.

Is there an art to getting the front one off?

I don't know mate i got told by riggy on phone well doing it to push the clips down so it sets the grille free so you can get the bumper off so i did it and snapped the clips.

Oh.... ME being a bit heavy handed, I can see this going wrong. I only want to paint it. Might try masking the front of the car like a bitch and spraying it with it on.

Its a 5 minute job...

Take the grille out first, then undo two nuts each side inside front wings, all screws under bumper, then pull bumper off the bar, job done. :thumb:

Is the grille easy to remove?

Yeah I think its just two or three clips at the top on the slam panel, and then the bits where it slots into the bumper, just be careful not the break it. I broke mine by dropping it on concrete thoughlol
