2lt bottom end with 1800 head???

hi could any one tell me if the 2lt bottom end out of a cav aprrox m reg?? it was injection, would fita 1800 head?

im guessing your on about the 2lt 8v engines and if so then the 1800 8v head will fit.

yeah they fit, i am using that head on a 2ltr block.

IIRC the valve area is smaller on the 1800 head. So theres no power to be gained, though the CR may go up a touch.

Just make sure the manifolds (inlet & exh) go on befoire the head is bolted down or skimmed etc to avoid wasting time & money.
