Well as i'm bored at work as per usual I thought I would list what i've done to my car since I've had it :)
It already had a 1.6 8v cavalier engine in it and all the bits, but was pretty much standard, lowered 40 mm,OZ alloys, awful exhaust that had flexipipe on.racin stearing wheel and stuff, all basically bodge jobbed unfortunatly.
Ok i've put:
new brake pads
new cv boots
new rear suspension
got rid of the chrome pedal things
3 spoke nova wheels and sprayed them black
painted the drums and break calibres blue
fixed the inner arches and had the rear side and passenger door resprayed
new powerflow exhaust, not so loud or chavy with a 3 half inch tail pipe (goodbye flexi pipe!)
fixed the interior light and boot light
fitted 6x9 kenwood speakers and kenwood headunit
sprayed the front door cards blue
fixed the heating sort of
fixed the airvents inside where the little bits had popped off(silly but i was chuffed i did it myself)
I've learnt a lot in the year since i've had it. Ok I havnt done it all myself but the little buts like painting and changing breaks with help and fixing little bits I have and i'm pretty proud that I have :D It's also pretty satisfying to look at George ( yes he's named :P ) now and to think how he was before.
Still quite a few bits I would like to do though:)
