cam belt cover

i was woundering if any 1 could help me! i ve a gte engine and the bottom cam beltcover is broking behind the pulley! but vauxhall nls the parts!
could i buy i complete gsi camblet cover and fit it? not sure if it would fix straight on or if the fixing's r in different places to the GTE block

If the covers the same type yeah(round/square top cover)

GTE is a clip together affair wheras the GSi is made of a few flat peices of plastic that forms a box around the cam belt.

I'm pretty sure you could convert over to the later type but it wont be cheap & there are quite a few variants for all the 8v applications.
