View Full Version : 17" wheels
whats everyones opinion on 17" wheels personally i dont like going over 16" on a nova an even then they HAVE to have 40 series tyres, but ive been offered a set of 17s cheap and ive seen em on a different nova and they dont loook at all bad,
should i?
or shouldnt i?

Rub central.
Make it look like a tractor.
Take the wheels and sell them on if you think there's profit to be had.

Im not a BIG fan of 17's. But thats what i think,i like smaller (wheeey ;) ).
get a couple images up and if there cheap like you say get them, try them, keep or sell them .
Tom
dont want to make cash off a mate really think ill try em anyway if i dont like em ican move em on
Similar situation I had. I'm now on 15s and have a set of stunning 17s sat in the garage. But i'd feel bad if I sold them on for a profit.

Lowered 30/60. Rubs at high speeds on Bad roads, ET42 (clears the Inner arch no problem) Needed the arches pushed out a bit but that aside, never caused too much of a Problem.
i can have them for £50 with new tyres, shouldnt have much trouble with them rubbing much theyre only 7" wide and they et49mm
if i dont like them theyre either going to sit in my loft or be sold on here for the price i gave for them
pfffft if your mate is dumb enough to sell to you for feck all then its his tough luck if you sell for more... I'd expect he would do the same to you so dont worry about it.

I agree with the above agreer agreeing with Matt2107 :wtf:
16's look perfect when on Nova's if its looks you're going for and 15's always good for handling and looks blended.
I'd buy the wheel off your mate for the agreed price and then possibly sell 'em after a short while.
Nowt wrong with that
