pv weekend saturday rwyb whos running and in what?

just been thinking about the rwb on the saturday of pv weekend and i know im going to be running this year after all the encouragement i got to last year but never did.
so who else is running ?
will be nice to get some vids of some of us going down together ect maybe start a saturday png 1/4 mile time board or something lol

Run on the Saturday, I did last year with the Sport, did 6-7 runs on the afternoon while it was quiet;)

doesent matter mate my old white nova with the sri engine was running high 15s and mullered my mates corsa gsi every run we did i think you will be surprised just how well the little 8v motors do also its about the exsperiance more than it is anything else if you havent done it before its a good laugh

im not running at the pod im scared of the pod i have broken the car everytime ive raced there so think ill give it a miss its a long way home on a recovery wagon, this is my stance at press but i bet i get ichy feet lol

People in t40d 1400's can only manage 16s.

i ran last year in my 1.4sr, best time i got was 18.2 woo!

hopefully running this year on the sat with either my new t40 1.4 engine, or the 1.4sr engine if i dont get it built.

I might give it ago again this year, but again, it'll probably be on saturday.

If you havent given it ago before dont worry about it, every car I was up against thrashed me but I was just concentrating on improving my times. My gte was up against two xe novas and a mk4 astra turbo but it was well worth it.

Is it £15 all day saturday? last time is was £15 for three runs, but that was on the sunday.

adam i had this last time this was mentioned the day after i ran the runs even when people that were there piped up and stated that they had seen it there self people such as yourself still didnt belive me so i put the tickets up to prove it aswell

the thing you have to remember with santa pod is exsperiance goes a long way and i was doing nearly every run what you brung at one point

all the sri was was a freshly rebuilt lump 0.5 overbore lightened fly f10 box bilstien head kent cam and 4 branch on 14 inch rims rear was striped but that was it i will have a look see if i still got the slips but i got a feeling that i let them go in the paper work for the car



as for camping same as last year i suspect everone in a big circle and gazebo in the middle hopefully where we was before aswell asthat was a good spot

Cant remember that myself. Its just a quick time for what i assumed was a 80bhp engine.


Possible with that spec, and a half stripped car :)
and a good driver.

the only other thing that improved my times is the r888 tyres 185/60/14 before i fitted them i was averaging low to mid 16s as soon as i switched to them i broke the 15s barrier

thats going put a downer on his weekend. yh he was expecting 13s because he hasnt drove it on the strip before. its silly fast, 9th fastest in europe apperantly!
