Does anyone know of any for a mk1 that replace just the headlamp, ie use the standard indicator and grille?

Dont think so. I have a morrette set up for sale.

They Do, Hella sell them as a replacement unit, IIRC the smae as Mants Quad Lamps. BMW E30 Units also fit with the removal of some mounting brackets used on the Beemer. Look in here for a thread.>>>>
