tbh im dubious. A mate and me test drove his golf just after painting it (no windows / doors etc.. great fun).

Only found out when we got back that all 4 wheels had two nuts in, finger tight lol.

Didnt lose any wheels, and im pretty sure they wouldnt have all gone at once.

I drove my old SR at 70mph for about 60 seconds with 2 bolts in each wheel lol never lost one neither :D and they were mostly finger tight too

I remember seeing this on a forum.

Apparently, the chap had just had those new wheels put on, didn't use longer nuts/studs.

Only thing I can think that made the come off like that at teh same time is if he had just fitted the wheels and need some wheel spacers to get them to fit an made a school boy error and not fit longer wheel nut bolts, i.e. about one thread on each bolt.

Damn you nick, well shows I know what im on about anyway lol

Apparently they where the wrong size bolts. So they did up but as soon as they had lateral load on they just slid out.

is it me or does it somewhat remind you of dar? lol Oi!:wtf:

It's nothing like me. He didn't use his teeth to opertate the indicators:D
