I need a handful of water pipes for my 20XE. Does the X20XE (i.e. from a vectra) use the same piping as the older redtop? I think the ones I need are:

> header to feed pipe
> matrix to feed pipe
> matrix to header tank

... are those pipes from an ecotec likely to fit a redtop?

They're all usually mix and match arent they?

Can I ask a big favour Jack and get you to message me a list of what pipes for where? Please?

jack, i used two flexible pipe 15mm connectors (from homebase)for the matrix and small lenghts of 15mm copper to connect to the rubber hoses. I cut the matrix outlet and inlet olives off and it left enough to connect to.

So I could just bodge on some 15mm hose from B&Q etc on there? Might use that as a backup plan if I can't easily get ahold of the hoses.

Not sure what you mean by that - the pipes I need, or you want a list of all of them?

I found with my let conversion that it was the only way to stop the hoses splitting. I also had a lot of problems finding the right sizes because the matric uses 15mm but the engine end was larger normally. I just butched whatever hoses i had.

given your time isue i would just do that. Don't get the flexible tap connectors because only one end is the right end. get the ones with compression fittings and olives at both ends.

I can take pics of what i've got if you need it or look in Joffs WIP for his nova, he did the same.
