1.4 16v conversion

i am thinking of putting a 1.4 16v corsa enging into my 1.2i nova. does n e one know if this conversion has been done before or how hard it will be to fit?

The procedure is very similar to the 1.6 16v conversion.

The conversion is pretty straight forward apart from the 16v engine wont fit to a F10 box you will need an F13, the alternator pully and big end pully need changing to a V belt type as there is little clearance and when buying your engine make sure you get an ECU that doesnt have the built in immobiliser or you will need the chip from the key and the immobilser unit off the back of the ignition barrel from the original car
