Ive copied this from a local website i use and thought its a good thread.

Are F1 drivers better than Rally Drivers or is there another form of motor racing that has better drivers? also would a stunt driver be better?

I would say the rally drivers have to be more skilled as they deal with lots of different roads and grounds like gravel , snow/ice ect. But can you wipe out the f1 drives as they are put throught alot more stress and strain on the body?

What do you think?

Rally drivers by far. Lets face it, all F1 drivers do is drive glorified go karts round a flat tarmac circle lol

Not that I'm saying track driving doesn't involve a vast amount of skill - it does. Just rally driving IMO provides more varied challenges to the drivers, cars and mechanics.

you cannot compare them. they are all different types of driving and require different skills and techniques

i agree with jack, rally drivers are better purely because they have to be fast on any and every surface. where as f1 drivers just drive on perfect tarmac

I say rally drivers again as already pointed out.

But, you cannot compair f1 to rally its a totally different class, style etc different car setup blah blah blah.

In my personal opionion taxi drivers are the best drivers in the world.. LMFBO

Don't forget that F1 drivers need to be as fit as an olympic athlete because of the stresses and G's that they are put under.

Edit: I voted Rally though as anyone who drives inches from trees, ravines and big rocks need mahoooooooooosive cahoonas

Rally drivers all day.

Multi surface, all weather, longer stages, longer season.

Rally drivers,

F1 drivers can learn a track on a SIM, if they crash its expensive but they tend to walk away.

Rally drivers, even if you knew every corner, which they don't, the promixity to dangers and conditions make them better to adapt their driving. They don't always walk away from crashes either.
