HELP! value my car

Right i need an engineers report for my insurance but they say i have to prove my car is worth what i am saying. I value it at around the ?2k mark. Its had a full respray and new rear arches put in, doorlocks and boot smoothed, one off bonnet, smoothed gsi frot bumper, smoothed in skirts, kngdom developments rear bumper. New -60mm gmax springs, uprated dampers, 2l 16v front brakes, goodridge braided brake hoses, sri interior that has no rips/wear and tear marks. Mountenay steering wheel, sparco gearknob, tinted windows, gsi spoiler, refurbed cesaros with new marshal power racer 195/45 tyres, ?300 toad alarm etcetc.. Anyway you get the picture i have spent alot on it and just need people to agree its value is what i think it is. Thanks in adavance :thumb: :thumb:

ic ap valued mine the other day, and it came out at ?150, to thats all id get paid out. imo even the best mintiest nova is worth around ?1500 tops, so i think ?2k is abit too much, be expected alot lot less. things like respray to them, one off bonnets etc will make your insurance go up.

You think the insurance company will listen to a bunch of owners on a web forum? lol

When they say prove its value, they mean provide receipts of the parts you've had fitted, and provide evidence of cars of a similar spec that have sold (important: SOLD, not advertised) for the same value.

Bear in mind, if you spent ?1000 on a respray (for example), that doesn't automatically add ?1000 onto the value of the car.

Oh... and what engine is it? At the end of the day, thats one of the most important factors.
