(i know about vauxhalls offset but dont wanna have to have massive spacers), do i need spacers on the rears? any help would be grateful thanks.

You could probably work out what width/offset wheels you need if you measured the gap between the edge of your current wheel and the arch.

i guess i add the extra measurement to the vauxhall offset then, i did ask one of my local wheel suppliers tha same thing an i got 'dunno mate, ot really sure' feckin lot of help eh.:tard:
lol, sounds about right.
Well, you know the standard offset - so say if you want the wheel moved out by 10mm, you'd want an et39 wheel. Or Out by 20mm = et29, etc. Thats assuming you get new wheels of the same width as the current wheels ;)
Bear in mind that's going to put more strain on the hubs though as the centre of gravity of the wheel will be off. Using a wider wheel would take some of the strain off, but may catch on the inner arch. Ideally, use a wide track kit.

cool, cheers jack, will look into it, least im gettin somewhere. ya know of anyone whos done wide arch without the wide track kit or is it a necessity? how long will bearings last without kit?
dont think weel width at rear will be a problem as i cut the inner arches right back so they would be able to fit bigger, wider wheels, fronts might be a different case tho.
t45ste had a widened rear beam for sale recently, check out his recent for sale threads.

if i fit a widened rear beam, will i have to do the same with the width on the fronts, would that mean gettin all new drive shafts, lower arms, adjust the top mounts ?
anyone thats done it ?
may be a little to much work for now plus i aint got the money to that just yet, maybe an option for late on if i do need to do all the front.
just vaux trev
