i was considering upgrading my 1.2 to 1.4 in the future and from there convert it to injection for a few more horses, smoother running and petrol costs, from what ive read on here in posts, im prety sure ill need a new fuel tank with a pump and petrol lines to deal with the extra pressure, providing ive got a manifold to fit along with the injection system and ecu, will it need anything extra to complete the conversion ? what will happen to the ignition side of it ? and wiring ? seems like a big job to me, would u say its prety straight forward ?

maybe it'd be less hassles to go for a 32/34 carb, hmm

You need the Full engine, Injection system, Loom, ECU and yes a Fuel Tank and pump. Its not that difficult really but yes a 32/34'd be easier to do.

Depends how you're intending to upgrade to 1.4. If you're swapping the whole engine you may as well go for a 1.6 GTE or GSi. 1.4 engines come with single point injection as well.

Also 1.4 inlet ports are square so you might have trouble matching modifcations up.
