Brakes not too good!?

I bought my nova with a valver already in, has 16v brakes on aswell but they don't work too well! car was origionally a 1.3sr, should I upgrade the master cylinder to a GTE/ GSi one? will this make a difference?

I would imagine you need some new discs and some proper pads, with eitherr pagid FR's or Mintex variants.

Might be worth bleeding the system as well.

Get the drums of for a checkover too, could of popped a brake cylinder

Yep, its perfectly adequate.

An Astra GTe servo and MS would definately improve things, but with proper consumables the nova setup can cope perfectly.

How do you mean by "dont work very well"?
The pedal goes to the floor??

Have they always been like that?
