my window rubbers are all green and filthy. whats the best thing to use to clean them??

I would just scrape off/remove what you can, and then try some meths spirit.

yes novalad and it doesnt touch it. ad might meths make the rubber go white

i used very hot water with washing powder in it,and a good rough sponge like youd find on the kitchen sink.all gone now:)

DON'T use Cillit Bang. It will damage the rubber.

Bably wipes are your friend. Then...


Try back to black or bumper gel.

...to bring the colour back.

Nail Brush to clean off all the ****E and then something like Turtle Wax bumper Gel to blacken and shine it. Top Job.

failing that, a tescos value toothbrush (think its 4 for ?1 or something) and tesco value All Purpose Cleaner (27p from the home cleaning aisle). dilute it down 1:1 and scrub away.

then some sort of back to black shizzle (loads on the market, but I liked the Auto Glym gel stuff as it stayed in place lol)
