Quick wheel/tyre/susp question

Can I run 205/50/15 on a Mk2 0n -40mm Spax suspension? Wheels are 6x15" 49mm offset.

with arch mods yes but why not run 195/45/15 easier to get on

Tyres are way too big, they will rub the inner and outer arches.

Well the wheels I bought have 205's on but they got brilliant tread.....aint got the car here to check fitment!

What about 195/50's? Bit cheaper than 45's and i'll only be going through them rather quickly lol
