View Full Version : started work on my nova shell this weekend

had this nova for a while now but never had a chance to start to my project i have everyhting i need to do the project except time haha. its gonna be a red top stripped out road car.have a look at my photos and let me know what you think so far

ive heard its windy in shetland, but didnt think it would blow your car over! you should take time to support it or use an anchor to the ground ot you will loose the beautiful nova over the cliff!!

it is a nice solid example! treat it well and it will treat you well!!

Get some sort of paint on that bare shell - Sand blasted metal won't like the bare elements of fresh Shetland Sea air

Looking good so far

haha yeah it was prety windy that day. it is a good solid shell i have gotten the H H strenthening kit on it now and the chassis leg boxed out for the c20xe lump.its gonna be flame red with gloss black bumpers. skirts and speedlines. with 2 rs turbo recaro front seats. more pics to come later on

haha smoeone noticed its opel corsa A.yeah its comming along its now had 3 coats of etchin primer 3 coats of 2k primer and to coats o grey stine chip and than is gonna be gloss red eventually.

no damage at all to body.i did smash the n/s door glass it was wound down but think i got it with the shot blaster haha oh well never mind.have u got a project just now??

yeah im doing one at the moment, need to paint underneath so i might tip mine up

it is alot easier to work on on its side rather than up side down. i also have framesmade up so a i can roll the car 360 degrese so that is a good help.wht nova u got

it was a 1.2 but now its a stripped out xe

cool just seen your project thread its looking good. you got any photos o your chassis cut out for alternator.??

i think mine could of done with going further back, but its a bit late now lol just have to use a smaller belt!
