Now as some of you may know someone crashed into my car when it was outside my house and bent the hub, i sourced a hub from a diesel corsa and fitted it today and noticed i got a bad negative camber problem, i didnt notice it before the accident so i dont think its because ive lowere it, but this probaly doesnt help, im thinking maybe the deisel hub is slightly different as it may be designed to carry a different load??? how can i fix this problem?? it there an adjustable camber kit?? its a corsa sport 1.4 16v. :thumb::thumb:

did you use the Corsa wish bone as well? it is longer and will therefore give you more negative camber.
i dont know about differences in the hubs though.

strange how the hub bent before the wishbone and the end of the balljoint (its normally the balljoint that bends)....but anyway. yes camber kits are available, you can either buy an adjustable top mount or adjustable rose-jointed wishbones, but i fear you could be covering up a bentness somewhere. you would be cheaper and easier (as you should really pay for someone to do your camber properly if you cant do it yourself) locating a
proper nova hub.

if it still looks bent i reckon either the strut or bottom arm has bent too.......

i wouldnt just put a camber kit on when somethings bent mate

lol Quality!!

You may have even bent the wishbone mounting point on the chassis.

Its quite normal when you lower a car to experience more negative camber which in turn leads to you eating away the inside edge of tyres.

IMO the best advice would be to get it checked over, possibly get dimensions from another Corsa and see if there are any significant differences (bear in mind slight factory tolerences). Then check components for damage, as said earlier there could be a bent strut, ball joint etc.

Following that if alls true, get an eccentric top mount kit (best) or camber bolts to cure the issue.
