i got it off a lad who got banned ....the cars bin parked up for 6 months it started first time had it up on a lift and its mint i cant belive how clean it is for an f reg....paid 800 for it with out mot or tax ...il keep you all up dated.. sorry about the pic as the phone i used made the pic the wrong way around also the car is gray but as you can see the bay is still yellowlol thanks

Where-abouts in Cumbria are you from ? I take it the Yellow is the original Colour ?

yea it was yellow but the lad sprayed it gray on the out side ...am from barrow...as soon as i start to strip it il post some pics up.....cheers

yea i was told its rare for a 1.2 merit....
I'm not really sure, some colour/model geek on here will clarify that for you. I know the Mustard Yellow is found on the Mk1 SR's.
Who cares what it was / used to be ... if the shells clean and its got a decent motor in then you won't go far wrong !!

the car has never bin welded and doesnt need any for mot it just needs bottom arms and back coil spring as the mot man could pull them out ..and the engine has a bit of a flat spot in the rev range but as its bin stood for months so an gunner do the plug oil sump gaskit and put full poly bush kit and i was thinking about spraying it white in side and out plus under the car....

just looked at the sump to day and theres a little hole can that be welded..thanks for the comments
If you know someone that can weld Aluminium then yeah it can be welded, the sump would need to come of tho.

failed on mot to day........front wheel bearing front brake flex pipe.both back wheels scrubing on inner wings and back seat not clicking in properly...not bad for an f reg.....never had welding for any of its mots..

now has 12 months mot and 6 months tax.......so time to change all the bushis
