Novacabrio and Geordie-Chris out making loads of noise...

Thought i'd throw up some piccys from Tuesday night when Novacabrio and myslef went out on a 100mile country road thrash. We encounted all sorts of nuicences, learner drivers, tractors, mud on road etc etc, but in the end made plenty of noise (Carbs and throttle bodies, don't think there's a better sound!!) and had some fun!

Ha ha, well spotted!! I took them off to laquer them, and made an **** of it, so to get some use out of the car I refitted the other ones. I just need to rub the carbon ones down and do them again, hopefully :roll:

I think Chris has the upper hand on me, We came off a round about and floored it and he was pulling away from me. He has had head work, and I belive cams over me. Not to sure on what gearbox's are fitted aswell

The blue one with those rims looks awesome, love the head light water squirter (whatever its called) gives it a detailed look. If only the MK1 had such an extra/feature.

It wasn't too much quicker to be honest, mine might have a slight weight adavntage too as there's NO sound dedening anywhere, and I think Mark's has more stereo in it??

Oh yes, it does get used and abused, aswell as shown you know!! Mark managed to put several stone chips on it too when he pulled out to overtake the learner, it was like passing a bloody gritter!!!

the alternating camera angles make me feel sea-sick. the cars are nice but iam a fan of std clean cars. i do not like sticky on scoops, pins, parts and accessories.

Each to their own tho, I'm not a massive fan of my scooby scoop either, but it does a good job of getting lots of air to my carbs!!

OH NO! this nova has been violated with 16V power!! that is worse than scoopage!!!

but yes...each to their own! look after your nova. it is like a woman, you can modify it over and over again. but it is better to let it age gracefully into a beautiful beast.
