Car has around 4/5 months tax but needs an MOT (this will be done before sale)
Generally in very good condition, slight surface rust on passenger door although I have everything to repair this including the paint. The rear parcel shelf has been cut to accept 6x9 speakers. The tyres are old and could do with replacing, I might do this depending on sale price. I can't think of any other bad points really? actually two bits of interior trim need replacing, the under the steering column part and also a plastic sill protector. These will be replaced before sale and also the drivers door lock doesn't work however the boot and passenger do. I think that the lock needs a strip down and re lube the important part here is that the central locking is in full working order! Oh and the passenger side windscreen washer isn't working, might be blocked or need a new one way valve. Not looked into this yet!
The car has stamps in it's service book and I also have receipts for a cambelt change, new eilbach suspension, new OEM full exhaust and other invoices which I can't remember. The car has done around 6k miles since this was completed. Mileage currently sits at 96k (pretty low for the year and nothing on these engines)
I've had the carpets up and the floor is solid as are the inner rear wheel arches where these cars are known to rust easily, this car is very solid in these areas and also the skuttle panel again, another area where most of them have rust.
Based on the condition, originality of the car (still has the manifold protectors that protect the spark plugs) but most of all the way it drives I am really after ?2k (with 4 tyres and 12 months MOT and all trim replaced). These models are appreciating now and a good one is very rare! I will however sell for ?1800 as it stands now
Below is a picture of the car when it was on Alpinas and also a shot of the interior. I will upload better pictures over the weekend! Reason for sale is I am in trouble with the banks and need cash! Car is located in RH10, about 10mins from Gatwick Airport
