Do i need to tell the insurance company if i have changed the seats. they are standard new recaros out of a vauxhall cos they have got the vauxhall subframe and badge on them. Should this boost the money up on my premium or should i forget about it and tell them nothing.

You should tell them as it could possibly increase the value of your car, or the appealability of theifs to rob it. (they might like your seats!). Personally I wouldnt say anything, they they came with the car or stick a seat cover on it if a insurance geezer decides to come poke around. and other then bucket seats who robs car seats? other then kids building tree houses.

I would tell, then you are covered. then when some twocer nicks them you are covered and changing the seats would count as a mod.
