F13 leaking

if i over fill my F13 sccr box with about 3/4 Litre is it likelly to leak out of anywhere? the reason i ask- i changed the oil and over filled it and it has developed a leak and it is not from the sump pan?

Wheres it leaking from?

Excess oil will usually get forced up and out of the breather hole/plug(where you fill it up)

try the level plug or check the shaft seals. could be that its leaked for ages and is only now apparent now its topped up. how much did you need to put in it?

i changed the oil as it had been in the box for 6 events. i might take the sump guard off tomorrow and jack it up to see what i can find!!!

a dry 'box will take about 1.8 litres, I know as I just rebuilt one and the oil has now all leaked out over my garage floor lol

My leak was from the diff castle nut thing. Bought another two seals to hopefully sort it.
