View Full Version : EBAY - shrewsburyfan1
Hello
Has anybody had any dealings with the above ebayer. I bought a set of front gte seats of him a couple of weeks ago which were described as mint. When i EVENTUALLY got them there were cigarette burns on them and no subframes which were shown in the pictures. I tried to resolve the matter with him but he turned out to be a silly ignorant abusive little boy.
Im basically posting this to make everyone aware of this idiot as he tries to con you for more postage costs and will then try to fob you off and then leaves you abusive feedback.
Be very very aware as he sells a lot of vauxhall parts. Sorry for the rant but folk like this really really pi$$ me off. I work really hard for my money and hate giving it to folk like this! phewww!

give ebay a bad report on him, then if you really want to screw him, take him to court for the money back, but & this is the best bit, do it in your nearest court.. the idiot then has to either defend himself in person or get a ccj which means no loans etc....
ps. get some free legal advice first, most solicitors offer free consults.
...and if you paid by paypal, get onto them as there's a chance they can refund the money.
as above dont just give up thats what ?85 (looked on ebay) and i think that its out of order him leaving you negative feedback when it was his fault!

If you paid by paypal your in a better position as in my experience ebay doesn't really give a funk.
The worst they'll do is suggest you leave negative feedback and put a mark on his account. Eventually if he gets reported enough they'll shut his account down but he'll more than likely just make a new one.
Just for reference, I've not had much luck with claiming money back from Paypal despite their claims that its the safest way to pay for stuff.
I purchased something on eBay that was ?5 exactly and paid by Paypal. The goods never arrived and the seller dissapeared.
When Paypal were contacted they opened a "case" and eventually got back to me saying the guy did not have enough funds in his Paypal account to refund me but as soon as his funds rise I will get my refund - yea right!
He's probably done this trick many times and ran away with all the cash!
Maybe if it was a higher value it might be different but in my eyes it shouldn't be.

same ish happened to me!! i payed 40 quid for a set of smoked lights, and 35 quid for callipers for my astra, from 2 different sellers, neither turned up, and never got my money back for either of them!!
Im definately going to contact ebay and paypal about this guy.
After i saw he left me bad feedback i sent him and email asking why he was being so ignorant and abusive.
Just got an email back stating "i dont care what you think, thanks for your custom" What an absolute prat!
As i said just be very careful dealing with this person.
What goes around, comes around!

ive had a top radiator hose of him i paid for it, and it was sent the following day so no problems, but if hes described an item, then you get what is explained in the listing,if not and hes not to sort the problem then negative feedback should be given, and also an email to ebay.

wot a tit
I loved the blokes feedback about the item description only mentioned the seat & the runners weren't shown on the photo, but the knob was..........
He reminds me of a bloke who kept selling a nova gte fuel tank (in Cannock, 10 miles from shifnal) in CCC mag. I went there & found it was a 1.2 carb one.. When I pointed out he was mis-selling the item & it was not a gte one, he turned round & said 'so are you buying it or not?' it was in the ccc ads for 6 more months....as a gte one! unfortunately there are always a few con men out there...
ha ha!! i had a look at him, check out the small(ish) print at the bottom of this one!! lol

There's nothing wrong with that listing, lots of places list items like that. Normally its a wheelnut lol.
The guys got good feedback, which is unusual in situations like this. Speaking to you like that is no way to run a business though!

No, most people do it when listing multiple items in one auction - usually when they're breaking a car. To have an auction that lists an MDF parcel shelf then at the bottom says the auction is really for a windscreen wiper is a bit out of order!
Although you could read it as "don't bid, use the buy it now... if you bid and win, I'll send you a wiper blade" i.e. he wants people to use the Buy It Now - but isn't the auction BIN-only anyway?!
I understand whats being said about the "listing", however i took it for granted that when i saw the photo with the sliders in it they were included. If this guys done so much business would it not be common courtesy to state that they are not?
In any event, maybe im going of the subject a tad but would you expect to bid and buy a redtop off of ebay only to find it doesnt include the cams, bolts and pistons. And then be told "I ONLY LISTED IT AS AN ENGINE, I DIDNT SAY IT HAD ALL THE PARTS"
Come on, this is rubbish.
As i said im only posting this to warn fellow car enthusiasts who work hard for there money, but feel free to buy from him and your own risk!
