Is there much messing about involved going from a 1.2spi engine to a 1.2 carb??

Would I need a different petrol tank or fuel lines? or can you modify the spi tank?

I want the swap to be as straight forward and cheap as poss, don't really want to be sourcing/buying other parts...

Any info greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Fuelling will be easy as the carb unit has its own fuel pump on the engine, however the SPI wiring is a nightmare, best thing to do is seperate the wires for oil pressure, coolant temperature, an ignition live and the starter and tuck the rest of the spi loom out of the way.

Remove the SPI pump from the tank, and replace it with some normal fuel hose.
You will have to wire a few wires for the ignition coil, but thats pretty much it.

Id go with Dan's advice about the spi loom, dont bother trying hack it out, just use the wires you need from it.
