I have a nice set of alloys which I adore, but in a prang a while back I managed to squash the front near side one a bit.

You couldn't tell from looking, but when it spins up it sort of goes, egg like!

Is it possible to have a wheel pulled back into shape? Anyone know of any firms that do this?

i've heard of someone who does it round my way, basicaly using the same method as with a steelie, but with lots of protection and a rubber mallet. it never comes ou perfect, but a mate of mine had two of his done and stuck them on the rear of his polo, said it drove perfectly

I'll research round my area. I guess if you have the wheel rebalanced after then they don't need to be absolutely perfect, the weights should counter it.

I say put it in the bin/weigh it in as scrap.

i'd personally agrre with craig, as the more i think about it, you dont know if its cracked through damage, making it not very safe

weigh it in, it will have a massive weak spot in it, it may look ok when done but one pothole and it could be the end of the car

What wheels are they? You could be lucky and find a spare alloy on ebay going cheap.

It's a fox racing something. They were second hand so I don't know the name. I'll look on the site.

Got a 15" fox alloy I think in the garage, get a picture up, it may match!

Ah they don't make them anymore and there aren't any on ebay. I don't watch ebay very much so it's unlikely i'll come across any either.

Well that is a shame, what can I do with 3 wheels!

You may be able to get your rim repaired, if damage isn't too bad, I know of people local to me who can anyway!

Might be worth posting a picture for assessment, I have had minor repairs completed myself to rims. And wouldn't use them if I wasn't happy with them!! as an engineer!!;)
