Hello,

I was wondering if these shock absorbers: 8710-1276Sport and 80-2530Sport will work OK with -40mm lowering springs (FK, H&R, etc) or should I go for 8710-1276SPD50 and 80-2530SP1, which according to Koni are for 50mm lowered cars? I want to use the car for track days mainly not very keen on ride quality. I am currently running on 60/40 springs with standard shocks and as you may know the handling isn`t good at all.

Thank you!

unsure what the part nos mean but I have the adjustable 'yellow' fr shockers on my smallblock Nova & find them very good. I can make use of the adjustment feature on damping as it goes from very firm to too soft.

Compared with some of the rubbish I've bought in the past, they are a fine choice.

Both of them are yellow. The difference is that the SPD50 set is for -50mm lowering springs (the shocks are shorter than std). The thing is that you can usually use -40mm springs with stock shocks. So i was wondering in anyone has tried these "Sport" shocks with -40mm springs.
