Ive got the chance to own a 2.0 8v for ?100 for my nova but dont know if to say yes or not, i cant weld yet and have never done anything seriours like this, its a 2ltr or a 1.3/1.4 as mine is a 1.2 atm plus im not sure on the insurance im 19 with no Ncb

By the way the engine includes loom, ecu, alternator, starter etc...

Plus i dont have the tools for a engine change, hoist mainly

Insurance will be high with no ncb.

You can hire a crane for a weekend. And the tools required are just basic.

Also dont forget the extra cost of shafts/mounts/fuel pump etc.

to tell you the truth id get insurance quotes first no point doing it and finding you cant afford to insure it

Its wont be much more than my 2ltr clio i would think, my plan is to get the nova done how i want it and sell the clio and have the nova as an everyday car i dont many miles, its just while i have both cars but if i struggle to pay insurance i can stick one of the cars on my work insurance....

its just deciding weather to go ahead and buy this engine or not :S
