Old skool!

I like (and DJ) all types of House music. Mostly Tech house :D

In the car I mostly listen to funky house type stuff when others are with me and then really experimental tech/deep house when I'm on my own!

like most 90's dance music, LOVE late 90's trancey stuff (think gatecrasher black).
Like early hiphop, kinda getting into breakbeat now, enjoy classical music.

have a bizzar soft sport of Kanye Wests music and some other hippedy hop chip shop artists of the moment.

Really like the Lost Prohpets, xecutioners and other semi nu "metal" type shizzle.

Chill on DAB is an awesome radio station with some excellent versions of all kinds of music on there.

oh and KevW exculsive MP3 sets are the tits too :D

I'm easy (oo-er), I'll listen to almost anything. Do like drum n bass, trip hop, and rob got me into some hardcore a while back.

I'm not one for remembering names either, I just tend to go by what I hear as to whether I like it or not. As this is mostly a name dropping thread though I do keep a close eye on Herbaliser, Hexstatic, Pendulum, Portishead, Massive Attack, Timo Maas, Tiesto, Primal Scream, Groove Armada, Chemical Brothers, Kosheen, BT, and used to like Foo Fighters.

[edit] Also, thanks to Ash, I now have a load of Evil Nine stuff lol

You're aware Rapidshare is just an online filestore (megaupload is free btw...), and they remove all copyrighted content? And, rumour has it, they keep records of who's downloaded said copyrighted content? I'm sure the MPAA/RIAA would love to have a list of you and your bank account details so they can direct-debit the lawsuit to you lol

Rapidshare is great for pr0n though. Get on anothersite.com and download photobucket accounts :D

Rapidshare is a file hosting site, content is uploaded by individual users - think of it like photobucket, but for all types of files. Don't think of it like iTunes, where apple has distribution rights to the hosted music.

You pay to download without bandwidth restriction, not to download copyrighted material. I'm 100% sure it will say in their Terms of Service when uploading a file that copyrighted material is not allowed (unless the uploader is the copyright holder, or has permission from them).

lol I thought thats what might of happened lol I can put you on to loads more stuff like that;)

I have a very ummm 'wide' music taste. Al Green and Louie Armstrong have made an apperance recently  A cross section of my normal music would read as follows:

Artic Monkeys, Feeder, Cream, Creedence Clearwater, Electrasy, Faithless, Hell is for Heroes, Herbaliser, Jamiroquai, Leftfield, Rae & Christian, RJD2, The Subways.

Quite on odd sort

Used to be a massive rap/hip hop fan back in the day, snoop, 2pac, dre etc..

But gone off that now as the industry is all messed up, anything by muse, travis, zeppelin, bob marley, and early green day are amongst my favourites. I can't stand the majority of cheesy dance/ trance music but the prodigy is all being played when im out driving.

Also my brothers band, The Aquataine Progression (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=112892778) and my favourite local band Aliquot Flow (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=123048890)

Evil Nine are awesome!
I'll listen to most things, ranging from Zep to Does It Offend You Yeah? only really missing out chart drivel and R&B (The Who style excepted). Vitalic is well worth catching live.

Got some strange gigs coming up, Laura Marling, Kimya Dawson, Get Cape..., Holloways & Spiritualized.

Should be a good run.

Drum & Bass is my main genre just now. I was majorly into rap & hip-hop some years ago & I only really appreciate the decent gangsta stuff rfrom mid nineties & what they still put out now, DRE, dogg pound, snoop, Jay-Z, biggie etc.

As for Drum & Bass the scene is huge just now. Artists like sub focus, brookes bros, logisics etc are producing such amazing tracks.

Those of you into D'n'B, give 'High Contrast' a listen if you haven't already. Favorite of mine being, 'If we ever'.

Generally though for me it's just whatever is popular at the time with a few classics mixed in. I can't listen to the same song too much or I get bored of it.
