Where you will get stuck is, when fitting the bumper, the diference in angles of the front end from mk1 to mk2 means there will be a large gap under the mk1 headlamp. A bodyshop will need to plastic weld or maybe fibreglass the top edhe of the bumper so it comes back further under the lamp & covers the gap.
