red bull can in engine bay

seen afew cars with this now, a red bull can on the coil in the engine bay, how do you go about this? is there a certain way you have to cut it etc? might try it tomorrow if i can get one on the way home lol :thumb:

start with a round coil, use a tin opener to take the top off the tin, slide over coil. Used to be done with bigger cans, beer etc then you take top and bottom off, and cut down the opposite side from the one you have on show, tin snips or even decent scissors will do it, then wrap it round the coil and trim off the excess

Tin opener? WTF? Use a pair of scissors for a finer cut.

can look funny when used as overflows - where the cans are not opened up, as such and have in/out pipes maybe..

The coil on the 1.0 is a weird shape mate so I don't think you will be able to do it! :thumb: :cry:

im not trying to start an argument hear by any means, but it will probaly end up in one :eek: surley puting a can over your coil cant do it any good what so ever, it must just trap the head inside the coil in the end breaking it !!!

was tempted to do it to mine but probably wont.
