clutch jamed!

just putting a new clutch in useing the 3 clips to hold the pressure plate together and half way in one clip poped off!

no the assembly is jamed in the bell houseing! and a 2nd clip has also come off!
any ideas on how to remove it?

Apart from removing the box

Only thing you can really do is try to clamp it by pressing the clutch pedal

could try that, only thing is the P plate isnt aligned with the thrust bearing properly. well pist off, only got the car back on the road yesterday after a month of axle and brake problems

can you reach in with a G clamp or simelar and try to press the plate enough to get the clips on?
i think you would be as well removing the box

i didnt think of G clamps, il try that if not, il shift the box over an inch :( gay how an easy hour-2hour job can go wrong!
