Reverse Light

The reverse light on my 1.0 Nova is not working and I am wondering if you guys could suggest what might be wrong? I have checked and replaced the bulb. Would it be the signal on the gearbox or loose connection? What might cause these problems?

could be.
check the gearbox switch, and more importantly check the condition of the wiring to the switch.
you can prove the switch by unplugging it and shorting together the two pins. with the ign on, the reverse light should illuminate.

i had the same thing will probably be the switch in the gearbox
