hi just want info on wat parts of the engine bay will need welding to strenthen the bay up to take a red top 2.0 lita.....and any info on wat il need to put a 2.0 lita red top in.. any info will be great thanks:)

Pretty much every seem from the bulkhead forward, stitch weld it, 1" weld - 1" Gap ect ... Also worth fitting a chassis plate kit.

thanks....allso would i need a petrol tank off an injection nova as mine is carb.

Yes. Get an MPi tank from a GTE, GSi or SRi. These have the return line for MPi engines & an internal swirl pot which helps with fuel demand under heavy cornering etc.

I'd go with inch weld 2 inch gap, no need for any more than that and the less heat you put into the shell the better. And don't go too daft forward of the front engine mount otherwise you've got nothing that's going to give if you have a crash

thanks to all ..bin speaking to belly hes going to do all the welding that needs doing ............
