Looking for a bit advice off anyone with a 1.6 turbo. With the downpipe i have, which im not sure if it was from courtney or if its a fiesta rst one? Will it be ok using a off the shelve exhaust system? I usually use jetex exhausts, as i dont like custom built ones. And didnt want to go ordering one to find it wont fit properly.

Cant you order a ashley system and have it married to your downpipe ???

could be a idea. What bore size are the ashley systems? What would be the ideal size, jetex ones are 2.5 inch but i was thinking this might be a bit big.

If its the FRST downpipe it'll cause you problems as it'll hit the sump ;) unless you mod the downpipe.

Also the Nova system will be around 12 inchs+ to short to reach the bottom of the turbo downpipe.

not sure which downpipe it is, il need to check with Craig as im sure its the same one that he used.

Ashley systems are 2" pipework, unless you order the track/race system(2.25")

Wilson. The down pipe you have (if its the one I sold on) will be suitable for a regular Nova system. Will clear the sump & mate to the exhaust centre section.
What you really want is a straight through centre section with no middle box. Its not loud but will burble & sound lovely & deep.

2 1/4" or 2 1/2" perhaps.

An off the shelf performance system will be fine but you can lose the centre box if you like & no need to worry about it being really loud, it wont be. Just deeper & a little more penetrating. Turbo's quieten down the exhaust to a degree.

Razorjack has my system in his shed. I sold it to him. He might part with it?
