Gsi to xe???

Ok i am planing to buy a xe for my 92 nova gsi......BUT what im not sure of is,on my nova gte the engine loom seperates from the car loom.But what im wondering is on my gsi the engine loom ties into the car loom itself if u know what i mean???Help

yeah you have a late dispack gsi , the looms do not seperate , still easy to fit and xe though just end up with a load of unused spare wires lol

use your alt and starter wires ,

and then you just splice the other 5 wires in as you would in any XE conversion

im doing the very same in my gsi tomorrow, with the help of a mate whos done it a few times. ill take sum pics and might be able to offer u some decent advice in the next few days. im pritty sure its just a case off un wrap the loom, take out the 1.6 loom put the xe 1 in.
