xe reshell advice?

Hi all, right im planning on reshelling my xe into a 1.2i mk2 over the summer but want to get the shell up to standrard first, will this be pretty straight forward? anything i can keep off the 1.2 as its injection fuel lines tank pump etc? any help apreciated cheers Nobby

i already have all the stuff for the conversion in my daily xe that im using now but if it saves me swapping tanks etc then thats good lol

Im sure you can use that tank if its a internal fuel pump one you will just have to get a better internal fuel pump. Its been a while sine I done one but im sure I used a cavy v6 internal pump on a 1.2 tank if thats any help to you

But the MPi (GTE 1.6) tank is better suited ultimately. It has an internal swirl pot pick up for the fuel supply.

The spi fuel tanks also have a swirl pot, its only the carb thank that dont have one, i just brought and uprate walbro fuel pump from rallyman to go in my spi tank, but im not sure what other pumps fitt !!!
