Have 60/40 Rear split red SR seats (in me SR  )
have toyed with idea of fitting rear headrests.
and then thought again because once the mod is done. i spose i cant go back.
do the guides seat well in flush so if i took the headrests out itd still look ok without??
would you chappies do it?? what are your opinions on the conversion?
regards
mike

just wanted to see what everyone else thinks :D
cheers for the replys!
keep votin! pollin ends in 8 days i think
rear headrests make the nva look "growd up!" :D
When I dismantled my novas rear 60/40 split, I noticed that the headrest holes are on 2 bars about 6" apart. they will sit flush but do require some gentle persuasion with mister rubber mallet!
If you fuck up, the rear coves are very easy to remove allowing you access to the headrests to remove them (they re on clips which you will see before you fit them).
Once fitteds though, theres no going back coz you haver to cut yer seat material - unless you are a dab hand with some material glue and a patch...
It looks good m8 - honest
Ade
yep, they look good and sit flush. I did the conversion a couple of weeks ago. They make the back of the interior that little bit more intresting.
Took me 10 mins to do it. Easy peasy lemon squeazy :P

I'm on my second nova now and i've just fitted rear head rests again. they look the poodles plums and make the car look newer, tidyer and more grown up.

ok im ready to get slated but I dont like them i think they are to bulky for the rear of the small car!
although did see Will Foys car the other night and he had a set of leather rear headrests and these looked smart.

rear headrests r the dogs bollox! i had doubts about fitting them because there was no coming back but i am well chuffed with them. whatever you do dont get the slides from vaux they will want ?18 for 4 of them! go to a scrappy instead with a sharp knife and a flat blade screwdriver.

Rear head rest as fitted to Stes red car
When I went to Vauxhall the other day they quoted me ?19 something for 4 guides as I wanted the same colour as my front ones (light greyish-blue from mk2 luxe+ model). I take it the ?1.93 + VAT ones must be simple plain grey ones. I was at the scrappy today trying to get the guides out of the seats but had no luck. Is there a trick to removing them? Nova-Flair or anyone else how did you manage to get them out, as they just don't seem to budge? Didn't want to piss off the scrappy too much and proper cut open the chairs and wreck them completely. But if that's what it takes?

dont the guides go into the seat a bit more than that kev?? pic looks like they stick out a bit? thought they might go in flush or inset a little like the fronts?
as for the price, he said they are all a very similar price across the colour range
cheers
mike
WOW, that looks just like the back of my car :)
