Gsi Electrics.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!

Hi i just fully rebuilt my gsi engine popped it back in today, connected everything up , went to turn the key and nothing from the startor.

When i turn the ignition on all the lights come up but the oil , engine managment, and the battery lights are really dim! All the others are ok and the oil pressure needle on the dash goes off the scale wen i try to turn the key.

the battery has plenty of charge in it .

IM LOST PLEASE HELP!

Check all the earths, especially chassis to gearbox

deffo sounds like a earth but check all the connections.
When you say nothing from the starter does it click?

yeah sounds like a bad earth to me too. also check the exciter wire on the starter too, thats the small one with a spade terminal on it

run a temp earth via a battery lead .
