well lads need your expertese again...
my nova when started from cold runs fine for around a minute, pulls perfect etc but after that goes to running like ****, no pull at all and sounds like it running very rich...

any ideas lads, iv tried ecu/afm/ colant sensors/cam sensor

i was sure it was the cam sensor, i disconected it to see if the car ran any different and it didnt so got a cam sensor and still no joy...

any ideas

When mine did this it was 02 sensor, also they dont run cam sensors unless the engine you have is a x20xev?

air temp sensor?
try pulling the fault codes.

o2 sensor?? ok il try that, i orderd a cam sensor for a c20xe and got 1 so the must exist lol they are listed on the auto vaux website where i orderd it..

any have any other ideas please?

Bet you got sent out a crank sensor as the xe's just have hall sensors and crank no cam shaft ones (well the dizzy ones do anyway.0

Sounds like crank sensor, out of interest where did it fit on the engine? Was it at the front of the block just behide the exhaust manifold on the cambelt side?

Late xe's had cam sensors to run SFI, because they had no dizzys to get a hall sensor signal from.

lol omg yes adam for some reason it ive just realised that as well. Was imaging it on the cam belt side for some reason like the ecotecs. Ive even fitted one on the corsa to block the off where the dizzy went for now. School boy error.

turned out to be a dodgy wire to the cam sensor lol
