thats the idea never seen anything like it on an xe and want to try and keep the inner wings tidy as they are very clean>

Hmm.
But you will need hack away at the loom too, to move the afm etc wires over to the gearbox side too.

That cars on tb's, and hence has no afm.

but then again adam if he wants a look like hes posted the loom will have to be hacked up anyway so a few more wire wont hurt

im not to fussed with extending the wires for afm ect,
i did look into having a custom inlet made to go the other way bud it was simply stupid money and a top hat seems like the easier/more cost effective route to go as my silky has drained ?3.5k in about 3 months and just been treated to some 40's webbers
and the white xe has to be budget but thoughtfull

The inlet on the LET Tophat is tiny, if your wanting to do it you'll be better off making yourself one that has a decent size inlet (2.5" / 3"), if you can weld or know someone who can then you'll be able to knock one up for a few ???.

you can buy an enlarged top hat, with a 3 inch inlet would probaly suit your needs better, there on gaybay i think !!!
