f20 gearbox

right the seals are away and think the gearbox might be on its way. is there any other reccomended gearboxes that can take the power. what about a diesel box? do they have a longer ratio? thanks.

An F20 is plenty for an XE. Just find another strong one or rebuild yours :) If your after a closer ratio, look for an F16CR, but these are difficult to find. Normally they were bolted to MK3 Cav SRi's

the longer the ratio the slower the car is on acceleration

So in theory an F16 will accelerate better???? Was told they didnt. Sorry to thread highjack
