sr bumpers

ive got some sr/gte bumpers not sure if thers a difference but the point is i have a blue front one and a standard grey rear one not sure weather to spray them both huriccane grey or just the front 1 to match or is ther a better colour than hurricane grey anyway wats the best way to get the best result for them from the huricane grey paint? thay are for a black mk1 1.2 merit but with 1.4 engine and gsi interior (like it better than GTE or SR interior) :thumb:

You could also try rover tempest grey or peugeot cossack (I think) grey.

i have got pics but looks a bit chavy at the mo with some fool puting gsi kit onit and horible stickers in windows and sum ugly wheels. and i dont no how to put pics in threads:thumb:

Search ebay for UPOL bumper paint grey. Look for the GM shade.

what about the shades of bumper grey halfrauds do they do light or dark any 1 no if its any good?

I chose tempest grey purely by looking at the cap, its a nice medium grey and depending on how fussy you are its a good all round shade of grey for bumpers.

ok so will it be easy to get the bumpers looking like that even though 1 is blue will it come out with the same effect and do i have to chooses a matt version of Rover tempest grey or is it just rover tempest grey? because i dont want them to turn out shiny i would like them to look like that pic if u no what i mean buddy

Lower it at the back a bit more fella, ditch the window tints & she be right!

Grey bumpers will make it look a bit more raw but overall thats pretty sweet.

i am going to keep the window tints but with just a png sticker in them. it has now got 15" astra alloys and the sr/gte bumpers + spoiler are at the paintshop at the moment being done in rover tempest grey. i want to lower it more but i didnt do anything to the rear arches so when i go over bumps at the moment you can here them rub :cry: anyone got any ideas on how to solve that without damaging the paint. i also have a red/standard grey sr 1.4 tailgate and spoiler with the viynl still intact so im going to get that sprayed black from the bottom of the vauxhall 1.4sr badge down so that the letters will still be red with the origanl grey viynl. any suggestions on improvment?
