wow two amazing engine bays, what more can i say, apart from id work the red light district to own one of these
whats the spec on the corsa.
im going to be running standard turbo and fannymold for the time being will having larger pipework cause any problems i.e lag etc
cheers
matt
My Nova had a standard turbo, with 3" pipework from the turbo all the way to the top hat, and had very minimal lag at all... Ask Phil - he had it on the rollers!
Phil - you still working Saturdays at JNC? Will pop down if so and show you my new project car...

The 3 inch pipe work is mint on your old nova rob, just read your wip didnt realise how much work you put into the car, the car looks very very different now to say the least lol

Me an Rob both know that 3 inch pipe work equals interstella bhp, also running without an exhaust gets you extra points.
Yes im still there on Saturdays, finally found a new project car then?
Ok a std manifold/kkk id be tempting stick with smaller pipework TBH
Easier fit, more room in the bay etc.
But aye, 3" pipework does look cooler
would i have to up the boost a tad or anything to get any more gains with the extra room in the pipe work.
cheers

no as you have less restriction than on smaller pipes, i.e. it flow more air for less boost pressure. Boost is a measure of restriction so it works the opposite way round.
If your just planning on keeping it relativly standard then i can't see any point of going 3" tbh.
Mines running just over 300 bhp and i've just got 2" pipework, as said 2" / 2,5" pipework will be alot easier to route thru the bay.
well for the time neing i will be keeping the turbo standard but will be looking into upgrading to a t3 or simular so i was thinking of getting the pipework out the way and routed.

:thumb: Exhaust-less is always the way... Yeh new project car has landed! Will try and get down on Sat morn to show you!

Thats why I used 3" pipe, as I planned on using a mental turbo setup in the near future, and didn't want to buy silicon hoses etc again!
Good plan dude! :)
