Right, i'm thinking of insuring the nova again..

My Previous policy @ adrian flux was ?900, Declared as a 1.2 Luxe Fitted with a E16SE engine, 130bhp, Suspension and wheels... I didn't really mind paying that @ the age of 18-20

I'm now 21 (nearly 22)
Driving 4 years
I've now got 2 or maybe 3 Years NCB.
Top Postcode.
No Convictions/Offences

I rang them shortly after christmas and the best they could do was Match Adrian Flux's qoute.

Now i'm sure i've seen people in a similar situation claiming policy's of around ?500 !

Thanks

You should get under ?900 easily. Im in pretty much the same situation as you(age, ncb etc) and pay around ?450, with similar power/mods.

Flux = HIC, so no surprise they're the same.

You'd be excused for thinking I'm on comission, but give Sky a ring - 0870 11 21 759 - they undercut flux by ?200 on the Celica, and offer like-for-like replacement on mods (which Flux wouldn't give me) :thumb:

haha, what a joke ! that's nearly half.

What did you say when you rang ?

I literally say i want to insure my nova, It's fitted with a E16SE 130hp, A sports suspension kit/Larger brakes and some 15" Vauxhall wheels.

Member of a couple of clubs, Limited mileage, used for trackdays.

Own and drive another car which is insured elsewhere

Mine is covered TPFT, 6k miles, inc commuting too.
Track day cover included.

I just said what engine it had in, and listed engine mods/est engine power.
And then listed the cars other mods.

Oh btw, that price INCLUDES ?50 for HIC rescue breakdown cover too lol

what! I've just insured mine, same spec as nicks throught HIC for ?640!

Thats limited milage, ?350 excess, been driving 5 years, 22years old, 3 years no claims, no convictions, etc.

It's covered for social, demestic and commuting. Cage, wheels, brakes, suspension, 140bhp. Didn't meantion trackdays tho... opps. I was going to get differant cover for that. Car is stored in top postcode, secure garage and fitted with a Cat 1

Think the company it came from is Trinity Lane, if you wanted to loss the ?25 admin fee ;)

It's worth pushing them, the people how insure my daily rang up yesterday after giving me a quote of ?460 on a 1.3 fiesta! ?60 more than last year! Told them I was going to cancel it as I'd looked on confused.com and could get it for ?360, and after a few minute they came back with a quote of ?355 - ideal, ?105 saved for 3 minutes
