Astra Mk1 & Mk2 engines are 13S, I need a 13SB with imperial filter, they were fitted to all 1.3 Nova's from start of production to 1986, upto 194.... engine number I think.

what is the B for in engine codes? isn't it to do with carbs?

all small blocks before b reg were imp filter, weren't they??? My first nova had a 1300(non ''s'') 8.5:1 block that I rebored for 1400cc & that was out of a '81 astra & it was imp filter.

lol I paid ?20 for my engine, box, loom, ecu, etc.

Baxter - got a tasty 12n here with a weber 36DTML (it's the bestest 1.2 to have;) ) lol
