what kinda air filter can i put on my lil' 1.2 nova? ive read all the recent messages and they all seem a bit crazy! do i just get a cone filter and bodge it on, DIY ram air style near the headlight, connected by hosing or is there an actual bolt on jobby? Cheers :D

is it carb or SPI

if its carb u can buy K&N bolt ons from the likes of deamon tweeks for ?50 or so

if its SPi then green do a bolt on kit - but as far as i can tell your better of modifing your current airbox - remove the frying pan "handle" so to speak and you'll be left with a much larger intake area and its FREE
plus you'll get the "induction roar" from the injection

u can also remove the "handle" on carb engines but you've gorra watch carb icing especially driving long distances on motorways in cold weather (the "handle" provides hot air from the exhaust manifold to the carb to stop it freezing)

to find out which u have look at the airbox - 2 bolts mean SPi 3 means carb
