Does your engine mount have three holes where there are only two on the rubber mount? If so have you used the right two holes?

have you changed the rear mount on the gearbox for a nova one? Also you should be using the offside engine mount from any nova bar the 1.0

Seem to me all you have done wrong it that on the rear mount you have not spaced the rear mount from the gearbox. To explain you need to do is take the rear gearbox mount off. where you have the 2 bolts that hold the mount to the gearbox. you need to put washers on the bolts about 5/6 washer enough to make up between 10mm/15mm then bolts the mount to the gearbox then the mount should bolt to the car fine. Hope this helps. You can buy spacer bars if you want to do it with one.

cheers scott but i have spaced the g/box with the propper spacers so that way i could use the 3rd/middle bolt hole.

are the 1.0 back g/box and front g/box mounts the same as the 1.2 and 1.3?

To Be Honest I Am Not Sure. But I Can See Why They Would Be Different As I Have Just Used A Diesal And It Was Fine Plus All The Gearboxs Are The Same.

If you could take a pic of the mount i will compare with mine.also show me how far out it is on the rear mount

I USED THE SAME KIT. Mine did not line up either. It was out by about 8mm out but i not a mate to push the hole engine mount with his foot under the car and I managed to get it to line up while I bolted it up, but its not perfect, what i am going to do is put all three spacers together and not have the thrid bolt which will be fine will need to grid the loop of where the bolt goes through.

Is your xe early with a distributor? or late with a coil (dis) pack? As i had trouble fitting mine because it was a late xe with dis which means it has an extra cam pulley, and fouled on the engine mount.
